Description
Yoga can be a powerful part of
holistic care for individuals who are recovering from alcoholism or
addiction. Because yoga involves mindfulness, deep breathing, and
gentle movements, the practice helps heal and connect the mind,
body, and soul. Yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing
exercises), and mindful meditation can help quiet the mind and
contribute to an overall sense of well-being.
Whether you are testing out the notion of sobriety, are newly
sober, or have been in recovery for a long time, this workshop will
help you embrace yoga as another tool to return to and maintain
wellness. Join Joe-Paul and a group of like-minded individuals in
this 1.5 hour workshop that will include breathwork, slow flow
yoga, and guided meditation in a supportive environment.
