Description
Do you find yourself enamoured of
the “om” at the end of your yoga class? Do you love to lift your
voice with others?
Join Sarah Mansori, LaRita Schoor, and Alexandra DeSiato for an
evening of chanting, song, and joyful expression. In celebration of
the Summer, we'll practice the yoga of devotional singing and
chanting—a timeless, heart-opening practice found in spiritual
traditions around the world. Together, we’ll sing simple mantras,
prayers, and sacred songs to welcome the light and warmth, deepen
our connection to spirit, and anchor ourselves in joy and
renewal.
This practice—similar in form to kirtan—invites healing through
sound, vibration, and community. It’s known to ease anxiety, lift
mood, and support emotional and energetic release. We will chant
and sing in both Sanskrit and English. Printed lyrics will be
provided.
No musical experience needed. You’ll be guided!—just bring your
voice and an open heart.
Space is limited—please preregister. Your $25 registration fee will
be donated to Southern Coalition for Social Justice and their
“Combating Voter Suppression” Initiative.
