Yoga for Osteoporosis Description
Besides yoga's positive impact on overall health and mental well being, it can have extremely beneficial effects on preventing or improving the bone weakening condition of osteoporosis.
Force applied to bones stimulates them to grow stronger. Yoga is the perfect way to apply this force. It safely stresses bones without impact, strengthening the bones without weakening joints.
****<em>This three week series is for all levels, ages and interests</em>.****
Whether you have received a diagnosis of otseopenia or osteoporosis or anyone interested in taking steps to prevent these medical diagnoses that affect 34 million Americans.
In 3 separate sessions, you will learn the series of poses that have been shown to improve bone strength, muscle strength, and balance. Each pose will be presented at 3 levels of modification.
After being exposed to the series and variations, you are encouraged to practice at your own level and pace depending on your individual needs.
