We all know the benefit that an hour yoga class has on our minds and bodies. Just like in our yoga practice, small changes in our diet can have major impacts internally. I see food as a beautiful, nourishing, healing gift. But it can be just as harmful if we eat the wrong things. Join me on a 90 minute journey through the world of sugar as we touch upon what it really does to our bodies, specifically our inflammatory response and immune function, and some delicious alternatives. As someone with a major sweet tooth, I will never tell someone not to indulge, but to indulge in a mindful way that our beautiful immune system, hormones, pancreas, minds, and energy levels will appreciate.
