Ages 5-8. Treat your child to a crash course in all things ukulele with our Ukulele camp! Kids can learn all about this awesome little instrument starting with how it works and some of its history. On the first day, they’ll be learning basic melodies and simple chords using easy-to-read charts and TAB notation. By the end of the week, they’ll have learned how to play them in tempo and with dynamics. Plus, it’s a great stepping stone toward learning guitar because its neck is smaller, has fewer strings but is tuned much like a guitar so that a lot of the same chord shapes and melody patterns are applicable to both.

To ensure that everyone enjoys their time at camp we ask that all children wear socks. Snacks are not provided, so please make sure to pack a water bottle and a snack. Camp starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm. Options for early drop off and late pickup are available for $10 per day, per option.
