Description
The practice of yoga during pregnancy supports the mother
physically, emotionally and mentally, empowers and educates the
mother to make decisions that are beneficial for her and baby
during this time of her life, and will provide tools and techniques
to help with labor and birth.
You will experience guided movement (asana) to strengthen and
stabilize your growing body, moving with the link of the flow
of your breath to go inward. We will practice pranayama which are
breathing techniques that are very important to prepare the mother
for a calm and peaceful birth. This will help you through
your contractions and to become present with the
moment.
You will also experience guided meditation to invite balance in the
mind and heart. You become present and aware of the changes in
the body, more peaceful and connect with your growing
baby.
