Description
Join us for Snow Moon Shadow Work
Let’s gather to celebrate February’s Snow Moon (named after the typical and expected snow on the ground in the Northern Hemisphere). A special event to continue with Armentality and Laura Armenta’s tradition of Full Moon Celebrations.
Shadow Work - We all have insecurities and a variety of reasons why we do not feel confident. Our “Shadow-Self” is formed by all of those parts that we carry with emotional weight, and are not always able to share with the world.
Our desire during this Snow Moon Shadow Work event is to offer tools that can help participants to experience clarity, self-love and celebrate authenticity. Hoping to ‘liberate’ what we have pushed back and at times we believe is forgotten.
Rather than repress we want to express ourselves. Utilizing visualization, mindfulness, Pranayama (breathing techniques) and somatic movement. Encouraging self-awareness, openness and self-acceptance.
Please wear comfortable clothing - ideally natural fabrics, avoid wearing perfumes and jewelry. Be ready to be barefoot.
Please bring a dish/snack to share.

Presenters:
Rae Fia Brassell - Neurodivergent, queer, tree talking, moon whispering, and feminist witch.
She founded Red Tent West Michigan in 2015 which became Sacred Medicine Sisterhood in 2022.
In the past decade, Rae has planned and hosted several events to empower and strengthen women, individually and collectively. Including consecutive International Women's Day, Red Tents, and more than a handful of Women's Retreats. She prides herself on being a Women’s Primal Trance Dance Facilitator as well.
As a Disciple of and speaker on the Divine Feminine she studies and searches for the suppressed HERstories of the Goddesses, as well as the struggles of women throughout history and today; sharing her knowledge with others and advocating for the protection and care of our Mother Earth.
As a survivor of child abuse, child sexual abuse, and domestic violence; she is a fierce advocate for young girls and women in whichever capacity she can. Which includes teaching boys and men that they are sacred too; advocating for their quest for wholeness.
As a mother of two boys Rae
understands the impact a Mother has on her sons, and seeks to lead
them in loving themselves as creation and creator, so that they may
see the world and themselves as holy.
