This workshop takes a psychosomatic approach to the practice of yoga and is open to teachers and practitioners who wish to take their practice to another level, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Though yoga poses are fun, yoga is much more than creating shapes with our bodies. Each pose tells a story, asking us to pay close attention to the sensations arising within it. A transformational shift may occur as we begin to feel from the nervous system rather than striving to create an external shape. For example, Trikonasana, or Triangle Pose, comprises three triangles, each representing Mind, Body, and Spirit. Working from the concept of including all 3 of these elements is the intelligence of the design, allowing for a practice that works from the inside out.
