Looking to feel powerful and still in the flow of life? This practice is a healthy balance of fluid like motion mixed with a climax of heat. Like fire and water we will be practicing a yoga flow focused on balancing and awakening the divine masculine and feminine energies of our being. This practice will be led by Rebel and Aaron Sawyer. 

 

Shiva is a Hindu God considered to be the god of destruction, meditation and regeneration. Shakti is the Hindu goddess of power, energy, and creativity. Together, they are believed to represent the balance between destruction and creation, feminine and masculine, and the balance between stillness and movement.

 

Rebel will be guiding the Shakti portion of the class. Shakti yoga will deepen your connection to your divine feminine, intuition, and creative expression, allowing you to tap into what truly makes you feel good. It’s known as “pleasure yoga” due to the free-flowing feeling you get throughout the practice. Shakti yoga emphasizes smooth movement and flowing transitions between poses. 

 

The Shiva Aspect of the practice will be taught by Aaron Sawyer and focuses on cultivating the eternal divine masculine fire. By accepting the invitation to “stay in the fire”, you are given the opportunity to burn away that which is not in alignment with your highest values. Aaron will be taking the class through a powerfully symbolic yoga flow with the intention of cultivating our personal power, exploring a deep emotional release, and connecting as a tribe.
