As a well-established school registered with Yoga Alliance®, we offer comprehensive training led by experienced instructors who have a combined experience of over 30 years in yoga. Our program focuses on teaching techniques, applied anatomy, and biomechanics, empowering you to confidently lead classes and design your own sequences. Led by Desirae Penton, the owner of Dragon Yoga, our program combines traditional methods with modern knowledge to create a safe and purposeful learning environment. We welcome aspiring instructors and those seeking to deepen their understanding of yoga. Embark on your yoga teaching journey with Dragon's 200-hour Teacher Training program. This comprehensive program is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners looking to become certified yoga instructors. Throughout the program, you'll learn essential teaching techniques, including cueing, corrections, and hands-on adjustments. You'll gain valuable experience by regularly teaching set-sequence classes, building your confidence as a teacher. Our program also covers creating your own safe and enjoyable flow classes, understanding the business side of teaching, and exploring yoga philosophy, history, and ethics.
