Description
The goal of Pranayama is to bring balance to the body and mind
by increasing prana, or life force energy.
By mastering the art of breath control, we aim to balance our
energy, enhance concentration, reduce stress, and improve overall
health. Learn how to access Ujjayi Breath and Yogic Breath to
enhance your practice and learn other breathing techniques that you
can begin to incorporate on and off the mat.
We will also learn the 5 Foundations of Meditation practice.
Perhaps you’ve said “I can’t meditate” in this workshop we are
going to discover that is actually not true and how the foundations
and picking the right type of meditation practice could be what is
getting in your way.
We will begin with a short practice to prepare and settle the
body, however please be prepared to sit for the majority of the
workshop.
There will be an opportunity for discussion and to experience
different forms of pranayama and meditation to find a practice that
you love.
