We welcome Tilly Ferrari to our course to lead a restful afternoon exploring Yin Yoga and Yoga of Sound.

From yoga's early days, sound has been an integral part of the teaching and practice of this ancient discipline. Sound vibration has the power to transform, transport and heal. Tilly will introduce you to the crystal and the metal singing bowls and you will have the opportunity to play them in different ways. She will then lead a sound meditation where you can lie back and be immersed in the sound bath with gong, singing bowls and voice. 

Tilly will explain the underlying principles of Yin yoga and lead you in a soothing Yin practice where you will be able to let go of tension and feel grounded and relaxed. Yin yoga is a deep, slow style of yoga based in the wisdom of Chinese medicine. Postures are held for a minimum of 3 minutes to allow time for the connective to release excess tension.
