A kirtan is a singing meditation, call-and-response style song or chant, set to music.  Kirtan helps rise above the strife and miseries of this world.  Come to a place of unlimited and unbounded peace, joy and freedom.

Patita Pavana was born and raised in Holmdel. At age 21 he took up the practice of kirtan (singing meditation) and received formal training in Atlanta. After several years he began to visit large kirtan centers in India and began spending half the year in India and half the year in the U.S.  Patita Pavana has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, Peru, England, and India leading kirtans and sharing his love for kirtan with others.  At present Patita Pavana lives in Holmdel and is engaged in sharing and leading kirtans throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia
