The Winter Solstice is all about entering into a new cycle of life… a slower cycle of life

Winter is a time for deep rest and nourishment, a necessary piece to the growth cycle of life.

 

We are entering into the deepest manifestation of Yin, a dark, cold, slow, and reflective time.

 

It’s a time of healing and developing inner strength and stability.

 

In this community event, we will invite this energy of Yin into our lives and intentionally slow down, reflect, and connect to the roots of community.

 

We’ll begin with a reflection into the healing power held in Winter, and share our thoughts and intentions for this season.

 

We’ll flow into a nourishing and rejuvenating Yin Yoga practice to restore the body and mind and connect to the element of this season: Water.

 

We will restore our spirit in a 20 minute Yoga Nidra meditation.

 

You will leave the space feeling nourished and grounded, and hold the wisdom to guide you through Winter.
