A combination of breathing techniques, supported poses, gentle movements and long passive holds are utilized to work deeply, relieving held tension. This class is the practice of asanas, each held for longer than in conventional yoga as exercise, often with the support of props such as folded blankets, to support and allow the body to surrender, allowing the muscles to release and the mind to calm.
