January 8th: *Ayurveda and the Healthy Routine* (also known as “dinacharya”) is implementing daily practices that could have positive life-long impacts on the health of the body. A great way to begin your New Year!
January 15th: *Ayurveda and Healing Herbs* Most people are familiar with the healing effects of herbs. In this session, we'll learn the properties (gunas) of some common herbs and how they can affect our digestion and energy.
January 22nd: *Ayurveda and Relationships* Vedic science offers us specific advice on relationships and how to navigate them for psychological well-being.
January 29th: *Ayurveda and Yoga* These sister sciences play off one another beautifully. We'll learn to balance our doshas through easy yoga poses--you'll need your mat for this session!
Parthena’s long time passion for health and wellness led her to the ancient healing modality, Ayurveda. She has studied with some of the best Ayurvedic doctors in the world, including Dr. Lad and Dr. Robert Svoboda. As a seeker, she has lived on an ashram, traveled the world, and has been a teacher for decades. Parthena is recognized by the professional governing body, the National Ayurvedic Medical Association having completed over 2,000 hours of formal study. She is also a licensed massage therapist and a registered yoga teacher, R.Y.T. 200.
