This workshop will provide you with the proper tools you’ll need to gain strength and build self-confidence to fly upside down.
We will start off with a warm up to prepare the body with strength and flexibility work along with some fun partner exercises.
Afterwards, we will break down progressions that will help build a strong foundation towards achieving inversions such as Crow, Headstand, Handstand, Forearm stand and Shoulder stand.
Lastly, you will learn how to engage the right muscles and how to properly stack the joints on top of each other while in an inverted position.
There will be time to play with all inversions and learn how integrate them into your own yoga practice. (All levels)
In the end, you will feel more confident and powerful within yourself to practice these inversions more often.
Led by Eugene Gibbs (aka 'Yogi Bear'), Bear uses his breakdancing experience and circus performing background, combined with his RYT200 yoga certification, to bring fun, safety and confidence into your inversion practice.
