Academic life can be incredibly stressful. Deadlines, pressure, and lack of downtime can all take a toll on our mental and physical health. But it doesn't have to be this way.
The Academic Writers' Space is hosting a workshop with Samantha Harden, PhD, an expert in behavioral psychology and a 500 hour registered yoga teacher. In this workshop, you'll learn simple and effective practices you can do right from your desk to relax or recharge your body and mind depending on what you need in the moment.
You'll learn how to tune in and make small adjustments that support your well-being and that help you engage with your work in a more grounded and centered way. You'll also learn how to embrace life away from your work and prioritize your mental health and quality of life in the context of academic life. Sign up for free. This workshop will be 75 minutes long.
Please noted that Daylight Savings ends in North America until November 5th and will have already ended in the UK and Europe so the workshop is at 6:30pm UK, 7:30pm CET, 8:30pm EET
