Join us for a powerful session exploring the heart chakra, what happens when it is out of balance and the benefits of having an open heart. Using sound meditations and a deep music evoked imagery experience you will understand how your system is working and transform to a place where it is easier to give and receive love to others and yourself and not feel drained or taken advantage of.
Dalena Watson, LPC, FAMI, MT-BC, EMDR clinician has 30 years of working in the creative and psychological arts of healing and transformation. She brings an eclectic experience of music therapy, psychology and counseling, trauma therapy, reiki and energy medicine, spiritual principles, mandala interpretation, and essential oils to her healing work.
Dalena is trained in the Bonny Method of GIM, an advanced music psychotherapy technique developed and continued to be researched and updated since the 1970’s during the psychedelic experiments at Maryland Psychiatric Research Institute. Using specially chosen (often classical music to support the complexity of the psyche), the traveler (participant) can explore their inner world in depth and bring forth the symbols, feelings and emotions, and experiences needed for healing and transformation. The music becomes the co-therapist and guide in the journey, connecting to the problem and providing the musical solutions that are then translated by the psyche for us to understand.
