This is a one-day course suitable for all workplaces with a HSE requirement. This course certifies attendees for three years with a Level 3 award in Emergency First Aid (QCF) which meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, 1981. The course is approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation.

The course covers the practical skills needed by first aiders to competently deal with situations that require a basic level of first aid. This includes managing an emergency, wound management, basic life support, choking, care of the unconscious casualty, regulations and first aid kits.
