Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training is designed for yoga instructors who wish to specialize in guiding pregnant women.  This is a registered program under Yoga Alliance.

1. Anatomy and Physiology:

   • Study the changes in a woman’s body during pregnancy.
   • Address common discomforts and conditions related to pregnancy.

2. Yoga Practices:

   • Learn safe modifications and adaptations of yoga poses.
   • Emphasis on poses that strengthen the pelvic floor and alleviate back pain.

3. Class Structure:

   • Design safe yoga sequences for each trimester.
   • Create a supportive class environment.

4. Labor Preparation:

   • Include practices that build stamina and mental focus for labor.
   • Techniques for managing labor pain.

5. Postnatal Considerations:

   • Basic knowledge of postnatal recovery and transition into postnatal yoga.

6. Emotional Support:

   • Techniques to support emotional and mental health.
   • Foster community among expectant mothers.

7. Teaching Methodology:

   • Effective communication and teaching strategies.
   • Hands-on adjustments and use of props.

• Certification: Qualifies participants to teach prenatal yoga.
