Pranayama is one of the most powerful practices in the Hatha Yoga tradition. Prana is the Life Energy that animates every function and every system of the body. Through the practice of Pranayama (Yogic Breathing Techniques) we learn to deepen and control our breath. An irregular unsteady breath means agitation and restlessness in the body and mind. However when the breath is steady so is the mind. Calmness of the mind through a regular pranayama practice can lead to many benefits in every day life as well as an improvement to the regular practice of asanas.
In this workshop we will explore breathing techniques that can lead to many benefits in every day life as well as an improvement to the regular practice of asanas. Explore a state of peace and quiet and feel how the breath can nourish with divine energy.
