Description
Inversions has been an interest of
many yoga practitioners. There are many hurdles to
overcome when attempting inversions in the beginning. It is
important to build the core, wrist
and shoulders in order to perform inversions. This workshop is
designed to conditioned the main
body parts needed to execute any inversion. Practitioners will
learn various drills, conditioning
techniques, beginner intermediate and advanced inversions. This
workshop will help all
practitioners at varying levels.
Chauncie will be leading a yoga sequence for the first portion of
class. The sequence will consist of
drills he's learned over the years as a gymnast, dancer, yogi and
Martial Artist. As practitioners
move through the hour yoga class drills will be interwoven
throughout the sequence. Allowing a
seamless and creative way of integrating conditioning drills into
an Asana practice segwaying into
the second portion of class.
The second hour of the workshops will
be more tips and insights to inversion postures. Chauncie
will
choose two beginner arm balancing postures and breakdown how to
execute the posture to the
best of his knowledge. He will then do the same with two
intermediate and advanced postures. Chauncie
hopes for practitioners to leave with tools they can take with them
along their arm balancing
journey that will build a strong foundation.
