Age Group: U20 boys(@8.30am) & girls@(12.30pm)

Requirements: FF Annual M/Ship & Competitive BF licence (see below)

Venue: UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM, University Park, NOTTINGHAM, Nottinghamshire, NG7 2RD

Registration Closes:  19th August or cap is reached

Format: minimum 1 round of poules 

Check in times:  TBC - expect an all day event

Staff: FF coaching staff will be present

PLEASE NOTE: there is a referees levy for this event - this will be applied to your account once the number of entrants has been determined.  

Weapons control:

Foil lame - foil mask bib - this will need to be done prior to the event starting - weapons control times are as follows:

Sat 14/9 7.45am - 12.30pm

Sun 7.45am-1pm

BF Competitive License

Your licence can be upgraded to a full competitive licence for an additional fee.  This will vary according to the age of the fencer (see below table) if you do not hold the correct licence on entering this event, we will use your FF account to make the purchase of the correct license to fence legally and safely.

FF Staff

Some events will require us to send a referee at a cost to the club. We also aim to send a member of our coaching team to as many events as possible.  This will give your child the support and help to achieve the best result possible as well as learn from the event itself.  To cover any additional expense for the coaching and refereeing team on the day we add an additional £10.00 per competition, per fencer to help cover some of these costs.  For internationals or events further afield where an overnight stay by the member of staff is required all coaches & refereeing staff will be paid for by the athletes attending that event only. This will be clearly displayed on the info above.
