Bring movement in your Hips and
Spine
Unstuck your hip joint - make
it move. There will be a warmup, a full-body workout focusing more
on the hip movements. Explore external/internal rotation,
adduction, abduction, flexion, extension. Work to your
ability
Many people feel that they
suffer from tightness in the hip area. Whether you spend much of
the day sitting in a chair or running, cycling, or even walking
regularly, this can affect the hips. This workshop will focus on
working to open up this area. Flexibility in the hips is key to
staying fit and healthy, so whether you want to complement your
running/cycling or just deepen your practice, then, this workshop
will help.
From Heidi
Following on from my last hips workshop, I will
be introducing some extra twists and turns! Twists improve
circulation and nourish the spinal discs by providing added blood
flow to the spine. They also aid digestion and can provide
emotional release.
Together
with lots of hip work, students will finish feeling freer and more
energised.
The workshop is for all levels - blocks and straps will be available to aid specific postures.
