AYA is thrilled to welcome back Paul Archer, owner of YogaCita and author of The Esoteric Science of Restorative Yoga to lead Restorative Yoga Teacher Training.

 

In this 25 hour course, you will explore the philosophy, psychology, and physiology of Restorative Yoga. Learn the classic poses, variations, modifications, contraindications, and the use of props within the practice. Discover the body's energetic systems and learn how to bring the body back into homeostasis through understanding the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, the influence of the enteric nervous system and our etheric body. You will also cover mindfulness and tension and release exercises to augment the practice of restorative yoga.

Paul is a previous AYA teacher and he describes himself as the eternal student with a passion for research. He has been studying, integrating his learning and teaching philosophy, mindfulness and yoga for over three decades.
