Description
Join guest teacher, Tiffany Cantrell, for a two-day deep dive into practicing & teaching Yin Yoga!
In this Yin Teacher Training we will dive deep into how the teaching of Yin Yoga is different than other styles of yoga teaching.
You will learn:
-Yin Yoga theory and practice.
-how to design and teach balanced sequences for all levels (beginners to intermediate).
-the use of touch and purposeful hands-on adjustments.
-how to implement deep relaxation techniques through meditation and mindfulness practices.
Your instructor:
Tiffany began practicing yoga to calm her mind, balance her life, and lengthen her muscles from the constant contraction due to weight lifting. She holds her 500 E-RYT certification with Yoga Alliance and certifications in Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Yin/Yang, Baptiste, Therapeutic, and PreNatal.
When Tiffany was first introduced to Yin Yoga, she did not think she would like it. She knew that it was a still practice and one that was more quiet and less energetic. Upon taking her very first class, she fell in love with the quiet time, the longer holds that worked more deeply into her connective tissue (which she so desperately needed) and the stillness that came with the practice. She immediately took her first Yin Teacher Training and began sharing her love of Yin Yoga with others for over 15 years.
