Description
Summer Solstice: a Women’s Earth-Based Spirituality Gathering
Sunday, June 22, 2025 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Summer Solstice turns the wheel of the year. The Solstice marks the longest day
of the year. We celebrate light and warmth, growth and abundance. The Solstice
also marks the shortest night, Midsummer’s Night, a time we can connect strongly
to our dreams, be they our waking dreams or those we have during sleep. In many
earth-based spiritual traditions women’s healing rituals are held, emphasizing the
nurturing of visions and dreams, creativity, and the feminine life force.
We gather in circles of women to create community, share stories, and to give us
courage and inspiration to move forward in our lives and to bring that courage and
inspiration back to the places we live and work. We will create a safe and sacred
space in which we will tell stories, do movement and song, have time for reflection
and quiet, and share ritual.
Participants are welcome to bring drums and rattles and a sacred object for an
altar we will create. The cost for the afternoon is $40.
