Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that takes your mind and body to that magical boundary between conscious relaxation and rejuvenating sleep.
Join Samantha for this 90-minute Holistic Yoga Nidra practice that begins with a short series of gentle, relaxing body movements that soothe any energetic or physical kinks in your body, and allow the thoughts in your mind to begin to slow down so that you may be more present.
You will then be guided through a breath practice that will further enhance relaxation, allowing your fight/flight response to gradually ease while your rest/digest response begins to take over.
We will then shift to the main component of this specialty class, Yoga Nidra, where you will be guided by Samantha to reach a state of conscious deep relaxation. Your physical body will let go, so your mind can approach a place of emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. Yoga Nidra is known to rewire the nervous system in a positive way, and plant seeds for personal growth — leaving you with a sense of peace, calm, and perhaps even bliss.
What to bring: Bring your favorite mat, a light blanket if you tend to get cold, and a cushion to raise your knees above the waist if you experience discomfort in your lower back.
