Spin pole is like a grown up version of your favorite playground equipment or amusement park ride as a kid; it’s damn fun to do and hypnotic to watch. But building up that spin tolerance and learning to work with the momentum of the spinning pole can feel intimidating at first! This 4-week beginner series is intended to help you understand the basics of learning to control your rate, shapeshifting with the force of the spin, and translating your core static beginner spins and shapes to a spinning pole. It takes most people time and repetition to get comfortable with the feeling of spinning, so the beginner spin combos we learn will be designed to alternate directions and build in breaks as you start to build up your tolerance and endurance. This beginner friendly series is best suited for those who already feel comfortable with a fireman spin, a hook spin, and a pole sit on static.
Please wear clothing that allows for maximum skin grip: No leggings or biker shorts, and tops that allow for side grip and armpit grip will be helpful as well. Platform heels optional.
