Carrot Chips | chips de carotte

Description

Sweet and caramelized, these carrot chips make a healthy side dish or snack. 
They are SOOO simple and delicious that you may want to add them into your regular rotation!

Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients
4 carrots, washed
1 Tbsp avocado oil 
¼ tsp sea salt

Directions:
In your oven, place one rack on the highest level and the other on the bottom rack. Preheat oven to 350ºF/175ºC. Prepare two baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
While your oven is heating, using a mandolin or vegetable peeler, peel the carrot to create long strips. 
Toss the carrot strips in the oil and then sprinkle on the salt. Spread the strips in a single layer on the baking sheets.
Place one baking sheet on the oven’s top rack and the other on the bottom rack and let bake for 7 minutes. Switch the racks and bake for another 6-7 minutes, until the carrots are crisp.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes (until they are safe to handle) before serving. Try not to eat them all at once :-)

Ingrédients


4 carottes, lavées
1 cuillère à soupe d'huile d'avocat 
¼ de cuillère à café de sel de mer


Mode d'emploi :


Dans votre four, placez une grille sur le niveau le plus élevé et l'autre sur la grille inférieure. Préchauffer le four à 350ºF/175ºC. Préparer deux plaques à pâtisserie en les tapissant de papier sulfurisé.
Pendant que le four chauffe, à l'aide d'une mandoline ou d'un épluche-légumes, éplucher la carotte pour obtenir de longues lanières. 
Mélangez les bandes de carottes dans l'huile, puis saupoudrez-les de sel. Répartir les lamelles en une seule couche sur les plaques à pâtisserie.
Placer une plaque sur la grille supérieure du four et l'autre sur la grille inférieure et laisser cuire pendant 7 minutes. Changer de grille et poursuivre la cuisson pendant 6 à 7 minutes, jusqu'à ce que les carottes soient croustillantes.
Retirer du four et laisser refroidir quelques minutes (jusqu'à ce qu'elles puissent être manipulées sans risque) avant de servir. Essayez de ne pas les manger toutes en même temps :-)
