Please join us at Happy Hour to welcome Prayagraj Hule from India!  What an incredible honor it is for Prayag to visit our studio and share his wisdom with us!  Prayagraj is a Vedanta Philosopher.  Vedanta is the classical Indian philosophy that all of our yoga teacher trainees are taught, some of which you have heard passed on to you in our yoga classes.  Maybe you have heard the simple but always applicable “IS THAT SO” or “don't pet the tiger”?  Simple phrases from this ancient philosophy.  

Prayagraj hails from a reputed business family from Mumbai.  He joined his family business at a very young age and proved successful.  From a young age he was drawn to an inner call to explore the mysteries of life and the unknown Reality.  Consequently he relinquished his lucrative business career and joined the Vedanta Academy in 1998.  Prayagraj completed the three year Vedanta course under the guidance of the internationally eminent Vedantin, Swami Parthasarathy.  Thereafter dedicated his life engaging in full-time study, research and propagation of Vedanta for over two decades.  Prayagraj presents the subtle message embedded in the Vedanta philosophy using practical, humorous and seamless skills which has had a deep impact on the lives of many.

From Nancy:  Before purchasing Happy Hour, I was introduced to the Vedanta philosophy in a yoga teacher training with Eric Paskel in Costa Rica.  It opened my eyes.  The more Eric talked about it, and taught us about it, the more I wanted to know.  I traveled to Mexico on retreats to learn more and more.  It made perfect sense to me, when other things I had practiced never really did.  I began to use the philosophy in my life and my life slowly changed and shifted...and became a GREAT DEAL MORE PEACEFUL and less difficult to manage.  My relationships changed.  My problem solving changed.  My choices changed.  I'm still learning.  I'm still changing...“every day, in every way”... using the Vedantan philosophy.  I cannot wait to learn more from Prayagraj on Sunday!  I hope you'll join me at the studio.  You are sure to feel a shift, like I did.  

Please wear comfortable clothing.  We will be sitting on the floor.  Bring a blanket and/or a cushion to sit on.  We have some, but not enough for everyone.  If you are unable to sit on the floor, you may bring a lawn chair and use it in the back or on the side of the room.  Prayagraj will be speaking for 45 minutes and will open the discussion to any and all questions after that!
