Description

A two hour in-depth seminar series breaking down the 6 strong lifting exercises. Each seminar will focus on two lifts, one upper body and one lower body lift. On May 19th, we will discuss the back squat and military press/push-press lifts in extreme detail. This will include range of motion, muscle groups worked, common problems, and practicals on how to make specific improvements in your form. Seminar will be taught in Culver City by Jake Evans.

About Jake:

Jake started lifting with his dad when he was 16 years old. He has his Master's Degree in Sports Science and undergrad in Exercise Physiology along with Nutrition, Food Science and Coaching. Jake was a multi-sport athlete growing up and competed in Track and Field in college as a 400m sprinter.

Jake has been a personal trainer since 2015, and is CSCS, NSCA-CPT, and USAW certified. He has worked in the collegiate sector at Santa Clara University and UCLA and volunteered as a Physical Therapy aid (over 200 hours) in 4 different settings. In other words, Jake is an expert.
