In this seminar, Nick will be joined by Shawna Potter to offer a seminar that will give you the tools and confidence to stand up for yourself and for others. The first half of the seminar is dedicated to the 5 D's of bystander intervention. This is a particular toolset that you can use to help a family member, friend, co-worker, or even stranger in a situation where they are the target of disrespectful behavior or harassment.  

In the second half of the seminar, we will learn ways to keep ourself, and the person we are trying to help, safe in the case that the enounter turns physical.

No experience required.
This seminar is for ages 14+
Cost: Free for FDKM members; $25 for general public

At the request of the instructors, we kindly ask that all participants either wear a mask during the training or have have a negative COVID test prior to coming to the seminar. FDKM will have extra test kits available if you want to arrive early and test before the start of training.
