Flower essences offer gentle yet profound energetic support, helping to balance emotions, repattern stress responses, and deepen our connection to nature. Join Nora Toomey, Clinical Herbalist of True Bloom, for an exploration of these subtle botanical remedies. We will begin class with a short plant meditation, where we will be guided by the music of an actual plant! That’s right, through the incredible technology of “plant wave” we will connect to a potted plant and translate their energetic pulses into gorgeous, ambient music for a moment of stillness and connection. After our meditation, we will dive into the history and uses of flower essences, learn how to create them, and discover ways to incorporate their healing vibrations into daily life. Whether you're new to flower essences or looking to deepen your practice, this class will leave you feeling inspired to work with the wisdom of flowers.

Facilitator Bio: 

Nora Toomey is a Writer and Clinical Herbalist. She has an MFA in poetry from California College of the Arts, and a Clinical Herbalist Certification from the Berkeley Herbal Center. In 2020, Nora co-founded the plant and sound wellness company, Flower & Frequency while developing her private practice and herbal product line, True Bloom. She has enjoyed volunteering with the People’s Medicine Project, working at the Berkeley Herbal Center’s Community Clinic, writing for the Herbal Academy, and developing herbal programming for public libraries and senior centers in CT, NY, MA, and RI.
