Everyone needs some self care! In our busy and fast paced lives, we could all benefit from learning a few simple, yet effective self-care strategies that can be used anywhere, anytime!
In this six week series, Shelley Budinski will guide you through a step-by-step journey as you explore a variety of self-myofascial release techniques with the use of the yoga tune-up therapy balls.These dense, grippy, and pliable balls are designed to gently form against your skin, massaging into your superficial and deeper connective tissues. This form of movement helps to open and release stiffness within your muscles, ligaments and joints, while hydrating your tissues, and sending new messaging to the brain!
Each week we will be targeting a different area of the body, so you will have time to explore a variety of techniques and really hone in on what works best for you. You will learn key ball placements and various gentle movements, both against the wall and on the floor, which will help to open and release stiff muscles, as well as build awareness, strength and stability.
Each class will be a well rounded combination of ball rolling, gentle yoga moves, breath work, and longer held restorative poses. At the end of each class, you will have acquired several self-care techniques that will leave you feeling open, rested and restored. Now that's a recipe for self care!
