Try your hand at Improvising in this afternoon Workshop at BMF
With instructors Nathan Bradley Allen and Pierce Allen Edelstein

Have you ever been asked to “take a solo” but were unsure what to do? If your sense of how to really make a solo sing feels limited or if you feel stuck, this is a great opportunity for you. 

In this workshop we will learn about tools for soloing over different pop, rock, blues, jazz, and R&B songs. You’ll come away with improvisation techniques that you can put to use right away. The two instructors will be there to not only demonstrate techniques, but also provide lots of one-on-one attention to students. 

Nathan Bradley Allen and Pierce Allen Edelstein are working musicians local to Beacon and have degrees in Jazz Studies from SUNY Purchase and SUNY New Paltz respectively.
