Stax recording artists Booker T. & the M.G.'s were an American instrumental R&B/funk band that was influential in shaping the sound of Southern soul and Memphis soul. The original members of the group were Booker T. Jones, Steve Cropper, Lewie Steinberg, and Al Jackson Jr.

Since moving to New York in 2005, Dave Previ  has performed and recorded with dozens of bands and artists around NYC and the world, from delicate singer songwriter to heavy odd meter progressive rock as well as funk, country, Broadway, and beyond.  As a clinician he’s toured many popular cities throughout the US and China.
