101 Rock Band Camp
For Absolute Beginners

A rock camp for you Adults who really WANT to try this playing-in-a-band thing. Maybe you  play an instrument a little here and there, or maybe you don't. It doesn't matter.
You will learn quickly. Three weeks in, your band will be rocking. And you will be empowered, holding down the beat or playing a simple bass line, and possibly singing your heart out.  
... So there you are.  You want to play in a band.  And now you will. You've probably seen your friends and neighbors playing in these rock camps. We've got a million stories of folks who came in here not knowing how to make music, and the next thing you know they have BECOME rock and rollers, they've become bass players, drummers, guitar players.

And here is where you start.  Rock Camp 101. We take it step by step. We're not going to hold you to performing your first time out. It could seem a little scary, yeah, maybe, ... or exhilirating. So if your band wants to put on a show you will certainly do that. But no pressure. We'll talk about it.  Sign up for 101.  Come in.  Try this or that instrument.  Learn how to play some basic parts, begin to develop an understanding of how to communciate with your bandmates and unlock a few secrets, like getting from the beginning to the end of a song.  And as for songs, there is a mountain of rock and roll songs that are only 2 or 3 chords.

If you want to do this, you can and will do this.

It's a blast. The worry goes away. The rock begins. Let's go!
