Annie Ory studied at the Sarasvati Ayurveda & Yoga Institute with Susan Bass as a 300 hour Ayurveda & Yoga therapist. 

In this workshop we will meet weekly via Zoom and you will have direct contact with Annie by email during the month of October.  Annie will offer personalized and group guidance during the Ayurveda Autumn Liver Cleanse.  Students will be introduced to the basics of Ayurveda practice, given a dosha balance test, and given instructions and recipes to use throughout the cleanse to bring their doshas into alignment, cleanse the liver, rejuvenate the epithelial lining of the gut, reset the endocrine system, supporting the immune system, digestive system, every working system of the body, and preparing the body to stay well through the winter months. 

What to Expect

Week 1: We will learn the basic structure and purpose of the cleanse including understanding why we give up each of the things we do and what happens in the body during the cleanse 

Week 2: We will go over shopping lists, food prep, tools and recipes we will use during the cleanse.  CLEANSE STARTS: The cleanse can be 9-19 days long. 

Week 3: We will discuss how the cleanse is going, what is coming up and how the cleansers feel physically mentally and spiritually - as well as discussing any digestive issues 

Week 4: Most cleansers will be on the post cleanse now so we will discuss how to come off the cleanse. How to add things back into the diet slowly and mindfully and notice how each addition makes you feel. 

Week 5: We will complete by talking about what changes we will each carry forward with us post cleanse. Care of the digestive system, and all the body systems is daily work.
