Lucrezia is a senior teacher and has been with Yoga Sanctuary since 2006. Class begins with a lesson from one of the Zen Masters in a storytelling style to help prepare the body, mind, and spirit to move into a Buddha-like mindfulness. Following the dharma talk, class transitions to Yin and Yang movements, something gentle yet beneficial to our bodies. Pranayama and energy work prepare us for meditation and savasana. Lucrezia uses simple Hatha Yoga principles as a medium to help you stand in your own strength. With touches of reiki, this class will help you find your Zen, your way. Follow the beat of your own drum, relax, renew, regenerate your body, mind and spirit. Live a happy, healthy, and whole life.
This class is suitable for all levels of practitioner, from beginner to advanced. Modifications will be given to allow beginning yogis to build a strong foundation and for more advanced yogis to expand their practice and asana expression.
