Yin yoga works deeply in the
body's connective tissues. It targets our ligaments, tendons, and
the fascia networks of the body. A series of long-held, supported
postures gently stretch the body's relatively stiff, connective
tissues. The body responds by making connective tissues a little
longer and stronger.
Holding postures has a profound effect on our minds. Yin helps reclaim the balance between body and mind as you settle in and explore your physical sensations while observing thoughts and feelings that arise throughout the process.
