This is a gentle flow so you will be moving slower than in traditional Vinyasa as described below:

"Vinyasa means “composition” and in yoga is treating the body as a vessel for the breath. Each breath is linked with movement. An inhale brings the arms up to the sky, an exhale brings the hands to the earth. Just sit and feel yourself breath for a minute and imagine putting that breath with movement. You’d be moving pretty fast, right? In Vinyasa, yoga becomes a dance of sorts.

Generally, the class starts with a warm up on the hands and knees and then moves to standing and a sequence of Sun Salutations. Even in a hatha class, you are going to Vinyasa through Sun Salutations. The class can be quite challenging and is a work out so if you are new to yoga, you will experience learning curve of 5 – 7 times until you know the routine which varies a bit from teacher to teacher. The great news is it is not as complicated as learning to dance! Vinyasa can be slow, gentle, fast, or hot so if you are newer, pick slow or gentle."
