An extended yoga class incorporating
practices of asana (poses), pranayama
(breathing practices), mantra (sound) and
meditation. We will illuminate
upon working principals of anatomy and integrate them into the asanas for a firm understanding and experience of alignment.
We will use practices of pranayama and
visualization in meditation to bring subtle
awareness to the body and breath for a refinement of the mental practices of yoga.
This physically engaging practice will help
to open, release and cleanse the body and
ultimately clarify deep layers of the mind
with the ancient practices and philosophy
of yoga to connect with the source of spirit.
