Primarily concerned with ligaments, joint capsules and
connective tissues, Yin Yoga was developed to increase
flexibility and aid in healing to loosen energetic blockages and
increase energy flow. A regular practice will help enhance other
styles of movement you invite into your body such as sports,
running or regular daily routines becoming easier to
accomplish.
A very quiet, meditative style of Yoga that helps one to
become more present within themselves and their lives.
Most postures are on the mat and held for a minimum of two
minutes each, or longer ~ it is always your choice how long your
choose to hold the pose and how deep you invite your body into the
pose.
