<div>Iyengar Level 1-2 classes are on-going. Poses, called asanas, and many valuable concepts are taught. Emphasis is on standing poses. Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulderstand) is introduced. More advanced and strenuous standing poses are introduced. Twists and seated poses are taught regularly. Students refine their practice of Salamba Sarvangasana and variations. Students also prepare and learn Sirsasana (headstand) at the wall. Beginning backbends and abdominal poses are taught regularly.</div>
