<p>This two part series will take us through what it is to eat mindfully, and then the difference between a mindful orientatin to eating vs. dieting. Both sessions are included in the series and build upon one another.</p>
<p>Part 1</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Yoga students are taught to be aware of their bodies, minds and emotions. Learn how to use mindfulness techniques with something as essential and mundane as eating. This session will provide tips on how to become a mindful eater. Mindful eating has shown to be effective in reducing weight and to improve emotional and binge eating behaviors.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Part 2</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A large percentage of our population follows the latest diet trends to lose weight. These trends and fads can help people to lose weight quickly, however, the weight loss may only be short term. This session will illustrate the difference between mindful eating and the latest diet trends. The class will also focus on ways to promote long term health and an overall orientation to mindfulness when it comes to the things we put into our bodies.</span></p>
