We invite you to dive deeper into your yoga practice with
Sangha, community. Study the 8 Limbs of yoga with new topics and
meditations each week. We will begin the class with a pranayama
(breathing) practice followed by the reading and discussing of
spiritual texts like the Sutra's of Patanjali. We will close with a
quiet and peaceful 20 minute guided meditation. Each week
experience for yourself the meditative techniques such as breath
work, concentration, contemplation, visualizations and deep
relaxation. Classes may very in meditation styles allowing
beginners to get a wide variety of tools to establish a meditation
practice. Meditation helps to relieve stress, increases happiness
,as well as develop compassion, love and patience. Come with an
open mind and heart. Meditation cushions and a few chairs are
available.
