<p>Dive into the ocean of yoga! This training is designed for serious students who want to deepen their studies of yoga by exploring physiology, biomechanics and philosophy, and how they relate to asana practice.</p>
<p>Learn how to align your physical body to be healthier and more vibrant. The course discusses common yoga injuries and how to avoid them, as well as the safe practice of inversions using a sound science of progressions. Explore how to apply alignment to address specific therapeutic needs with yoga. We will delve into all asanas from the Maha Yoga Level 1 syllabus, and many continuing variations.</p>
<p>This course is a prerequisite for Maha’s Teacher Training (summer 4-week program follows Immersion). You may take it as the first step towards getting certified to teach, or on its own as a way to deepen your personal practice. </p>
