<div>The forward bend is the most familiar movement of your spine. We bend forward all the time in our daily lives to lean, lift and sit. There are many benefits to forward bends, both standing and sitting. They create length and space in the spine and counteract compression. The inward nature of forward bends can promote introspection.</div>

<div>Yet forward bends can also be a challenge to many people, especially those with tight hamstrings. Common physical patterns, such as overstretched back muscles and rounded shoulders (most likely from sitting in front of a computer for hours) are often exacerbated in forward bending poses.</div>

<div>Learn how binding and hip openers are a good supplement for your forward bends. We will cover the fundamentals of these poses and how to safety achieve your best in group classes. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">This workshop is recommended for all - newer practicioners as well as well experienced yogis.</span></div>
